Description
The C1 Clay bar 100g. It’s used as the last step once the car has been cleaned, but prior to polishing.
Why should you use a clay bar?
Our vehicles are exposed to more kinds of contaminants than one could imagine. Even though the car may seem spotless after a thorough detail there will still be microscopical contaminants that are etched into the clear coat. The only method of removing these particles is to work with a clay bar. The stickiness of the clay drags the contaminants from the paint and you will quickly see within the clay how effective this is.
Does it matter if you can’t see it though? Yes! It’s key to do this step before polishing since these particles will obstruct the polishing process and the result will not be as good. To achieve stunning polishing results, a fully decontaminated surface is an absolute necessity.
Keep in mind that this is intended to be used prior to polishing the car. Hence why the surface may be dulled to a degree after using the clay bar. To reduce the loss of gloss we recommend to use the Pureest C2 in conjunction with the C1 to ensure that the surface is fully lubricated ro reduce friction. Don’t use the C1 and C2 in direct sunlight and make sure to wear gloves
How to use:
- Make sure the car is thoroughly clean.
- Apply the C2 lubricant spray to both the clay and the surface.
- Work the clay over the whole paint in cross-hatch motions, if the clay bar is full of grime, simply fold it and drag it out again.
- Wipe off the C2 and get started with polishing!
